About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Treasury Consulting to join our team at EQ Bank | Equitable Bank. As a key member of our Treasury Consulting team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to our credit union clients on balance sheet management, interest rate risk management, and asset liability management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive balance sheet management strategies for credit union clients, ensuring regulatory requirements are met and profitability is maximized.
  • Provide expert advice on interest rate risk management, including identifying and mitigating potential risks, and developing strategies to optimize net interest margin.
  • Lead and develop a team of experts in providing balance sheet management consulting services to credit union clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with credit union clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in regulatory requirements and industry trends, ensuring our clients receive the best possible advice and guidance.
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of progressive management experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on balance sheet management, interest rate risk management, and asset liability management.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, financial modeling, and risk management issues related to capital adequacy and regulatory environments.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with credit union clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to interpret results for interest rate risk measures, profitability, liquidity, and capital, and make recommendations to enhance these areas without compromising others.
