The Government of Saskatchewan seeks a seasoned financial leader to join the Central Services Branch as the Director of Financial and Resource Management. This key role requires a strong financial background to identify, analyze, and recommend strategies that optimize financial resources and address operational challenges.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and report on financial management for the ministry, ensuring compliance with Treasury Board policies for the appropriation of the three-vote structure.
- Advise Executive Management on financial forecasting, supplementary funding, and appropriation controls.
- Lead the development of financial policies and procedures across divisions within the Ministry.
- Design and implement financial and audit policies that comply with standards set by the Provincial Comptroller, Provincial Auditor, Financial Administration Act, and program goals.
- Strong financial background and experience in financial management.
