About This Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Investment Business Development Manager to join our team at Mercer Global Investments Canada Limited. As a key member of our Investment Solutions business, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business development strategies to drive growth and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development plans to identify and pursue new business opportunities;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver high-quality pitch materials and presentations;
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and drive business growth;
- Provide coaching and guidance to junior colleagues to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles;
- Support the development and implementation of sales processes and procedures to improve win rates and sales performance.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A degree in a relevant field, such as business, finance, or economics, and a strong academic track record;
- At least 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably in the investment or financial industry;
- Proven track record of success in business development, with a strong understanding of the investment landscape and structures;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
