About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Chef to join our team at G. Abato and Sons Italian Market. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious pastries, cakes, and other sweet treats that will delight our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Education and Experience: A diploma or certificate in a related field, such as baking and pastry arts, is required. At least 1 year of experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Work Environment: Our bakery is a fast-paced environment with exposure to odours and heat.
  • Screening Questions: We require applicants to be legally able to work in Canada, reside in proximity to our location, and have previous experience in the field.

  • Work Details: This is a permanent, full-time position with a 30-40 hour work week.
