Role Overview

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example as a hands-on Pastry Chef, ensuring high standards of quality and consistency in all desserts.
  • Strive for precision and uniformity, adhering to the standards established by the Executive Chef and Chef de Cuisine.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all pastry ingredients.
  • Ensure all menu items have their recipes documented, costs calculated, and updated regularly.
  • Prioritize organization and procedures, swiftly identifying and resolving any operational issues.
  • Uphold health, safety, and cleanliness standards, addressing any deficiencies promptly.
  • Professionally manage special requests and dietary restrictions to guarantee guest satisfaction.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of two years of progressive experience in a pastry role.
  • Familiarity with current trends in dessert presentation and preparation.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team and work independently.
  • A culinary degree or diploma is an asset.
