KPMG Canada is a leading professional services firm offering audit, tax, and advisory services. As a Senior Accountant in our Audit practice, you will play a key role in helping clients manage risk and improve their financial performance.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Accountant. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional client service and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality audit work;
  • Applying KPMG's audit and accounting practices and methodologies at client engagements;
  • Conducting external and internal financial statement audits for both public and private companies;
  • Leading field engagement teams and coaching junior staff members;
  • Analyzing complex accounting issues and developing solutions;
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders;
  • Communicating effectively with clients and colleagues to ensure seamless project execution.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A relevant post-secondary degree and Canadian CPA designation or international equivalent recognized by CPAO;
  • 2-3 years of post-graduate experience in auditing or a related field;
  • Excellent project management, teamwork, and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Experience with all reporting standards;
  • Dedication to achieving high standards of client service and professionalism.

What We Offer

KPMG Canada offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
