Financial Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled Financial Controller to lead our accounting operations, working closely with the Financial Consultant and accountant team to provide accurate financial information to our Board of Directors.
Job Responsibilities- Oversee all finance and accounting activities, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and company policies.
- Manage accounting operations, including billing, general ledger, cost accounting, and inventory management, as well as reviewing journal entries, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Establish and monitor internal controls to ensure the integrity of our accounting processes.
- Analyze current processes and identify areas for improvement, implementing changes to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Provide strategic analysis and insights to inform business decisions.
- Collaborate with external auditors, the audit committee, and the Board of Directors on various matters.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting, with an advanced degree or professional certification (such as CA, CPA, CGA, CMA) preferred.
- Extensive experience in corporate accounting and financial management, with knowledge of relevant Federal, Provincial, and local requirements.
- Experience overseeing audits performed by external audit firms.
- Strong analytical and budgeting skills, with ability to analyze data and present findings.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office and Excel, with ability to learn new software.
- Excellent project management and leadership skills, with ability to motivate teams to produce high-quality results within tight deadlines.
