As a Highway Design Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Processing project base map and survey information, including setting up project base maps and creating existing ground DTMs.
  • Preparing preliminary and detailed design drawings, including plans, profiles, and cross-sections.
  • Working closely with design engineers to complete design and working drawings for construction and post-construction phases.
  • Ensuring highway and road designs meet client and approval agency requirements.
  • Transforming preliminary concepts into engineering plans and drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

Requirements:
  • Civil Engineering or Design and Drafting Technology diploma from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in roadway and highway engineering design and drafting.
  • Working knowledge of transportation engineering principles and design standards.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, with experience in Bentley MicroStation a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to generate high-quality work.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
