Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef Manager to join our team at Tandoori Xpress. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

The successful candidate will have 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in culinary arts and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory levels.
  • Plan and prepare menus that meet the highest quality standards and exceed customer expectations.
  • Train and supervise a team of 5-10 staff members, ensuring they are equipped to provide excellent service and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Source high-quality ingredients and kitchen supplies, while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
  • Cook and prepare meals for special guests and functions, as well as regular menu items.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Benefits:

  • Ability to work in a hot kitchen environment.

Education and Experience:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
