About the Role

Petro-Canada/A&W Fast Food is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Office Administration
    • Determine and establish office procedures and routines to ensure efficient operations.
    • Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and events.
    • Answer telephone calls and relay messages to relevant personnel.
    • Respond to electronic inquiries and provide timely resolutions.
    • Compile data, statistics, and other information to support business decisions.
  • Communication and Customer Service
    • Provide excellent oral communication skills to internal and external stakeholders.
    • Advise senior management on administrative matters and provide recommendations.
    • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and vendors.
  • Organizational and Time Management
    • Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels to ensure a well-stocked office.
    • Arrange travel, itineraries, and make reservations as needed.
    • Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems.
    • Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Demonstrate ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

    Requirements
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in an administrative role.
    • Permanent employment with a recognized employer.
    • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
    • Ability to work 32 to 40 hours per week.
