Healthcare Quality Improvement Manager Vancouver

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a Quality Leader, Clinical Quality and Safety to join their Quality & Utilization team. This role will play a vital part in achieving the organization's quality improvement strategic direction.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will provide specialized skills in supporting the organization's quality improvement initiatives. They will also provide expertise and support to clinical operations, corporate services, and unit-based teams to improve the safety and quality of care and client experience at VCH.
This role requires strong leadership and collaboration skills to function within a complex interdisciplinary environment. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Health Services Administration or a related field, along with three to five years of recent experience in quality improvement or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized skills in supporting the organization's quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with clinical operations, corporate services, and unit-based teams to improve the safety and quality of care and client experience at VCH
- Develop and implement quality improvement projects that align with organizational goals and objectives
- Lead and facilitate quality improvement training and education for staff members
- Conduct data analysis and interpretation to inform quality improvement decisions
Requirements
- Master's degree in Health Services Administration or a related field
- Three to five years of recent experience in quality improvement or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under time pressure and meet deadlines
