Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Retail Financing to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the overall productivity and effectiveness of our large partnerships and business development department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Strategic Sales Plans: Create and execute yearly strategic sales plans that identify opportunities, risks, and resources required to maximize revenue stream.
  • Lead and Mentor Sales Team: Lead, mentor, and support the sales team in key selling and customer service interactions, motivating them to achieve objectives through performance appraisals, coaching, and feedback.
  • Identify Strategic Growth Opportunities: Identify strategic growth opportunities through relationships that fit our overall strategy, focusing on profitable growth opportunities to ensure revenue targets are achieved.
  • Monitor Market Trends and Competitors: Keep current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors, driving focus and execution across the sales team to ensure effective engagement in the account management process.
  • Ensure Profitability and Growth: Monitor and maintain profitability of portfolios, devising action plans to ensure profitability hurdles are overcome, and drive growth through effective sales strategies.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.
  • Experience: Five to seven years' experience in sales and business development, with three to five years' experience leading a team.
  • Skills: Leadership, strategic thinking, communication, interpersonal skills, bilingualism, relationship building, change management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
