Operations Manager - Food and Beverage Service

The Biryani Walla (Toronto Downtown) is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our food and beverage service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of our food and beverage service, including inventory control, staff scheduling, and customer service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels, manage stock, and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu items and promotions.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in food and beverage service operations, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
