About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Building Operations Specialist to join our team at ONxpress Operations Inc. as a permanent employee.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain building systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance, repairs, and replacements to minimize downtime and costs.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
  • Develop and implement energy-saving initiatives to reduce consumption and costs.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and improve overall building performance.
Requirements
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate in building operations or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in building operations, maintenance, or a related field.
  • Equivalent experience or a combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Building operator certificate or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment, and controls.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
