Job Overview

Expeditors International is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven District Sales Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base in your assigned territory.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. You will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic, able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage an assigned territory and identify new business opportunities to drive revenue growth
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless logistics and supply chain solutions
  • Collaborate with regional Product, Service, Geo, and Knowledge Management resources to create value-added solutions for customers
  • Participate in the creation of sales strategies and plans to achieve business objectives
  • Attend training and development sessions to continue developing sales skills and updating product and service knowledge
Requirements
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to work productively both individually and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a sense of urgency for goal achievement
  • Comfortable with regular data entry on a laptop computer
