We're seeking an accomplished Senior Database Specialist to join our team and help shape the future of cloud computing.

About the Role

As a Senior Database Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for Amazon's database services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities, develop targeted sales plays, and enable field teams to capture and progress opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for Amazon's database services
  • Partner with industry teams to identify workloads and impact our database services
  • Collaborate with field and central teams to bring customer feedback to product teams
  • Provide advanced technical knowledge to aligned GTM teams to unblock customer challenges
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in design, implementation, and consulting of distributed applications
  • 7+ years of management experience of technical, customer-facing resources
  • Strong written communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT management, and developers
  • Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
  • Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
