We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Specialist to join our team and help drive the growth of our Database services in Canada. As a key member of our Go-To-Market (GTM) Specialist team, you will be responsible for leading GTM strategy for AWS' Database, creating sales plays, leveraging partners, and building new initiatives that drive results for our customers.
As a Senior Database Specialist, you will work directly with customers to map data and AI services to deliver on their business objectives and outcomes. You will use your business savvy and excellent verbal and written communication skills to develop targeted sales plays and enablement programs to help field teams capture and progress opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute GTM strategy for AWS' Database
- Work with customers to map data and AI services to deliver on their business objectives and outcomes
- Use business savvy and excellent verbal and written communication skills to develop targeted sales plays and enablement programs
- Partner with industry teams to identify workloads, such as Generative AI, that impact our database services
- Collaborate with field and central teams to bring customer feedback to product teams
Requirements:
- 10+ years design, implementation, consulting experience of distributed applications
- 7+ years management of technical, customer facing resources
- History of successful technical consulting and/or architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises
- Strong written communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers
- Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
- Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
