Executive Culinary Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Culinary Supervisor to join our team at La Cubana Ossington.
About the RoleThis is a permanent position that requires approximately 30 hours of work per week. As an Executive Culinary Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, overseeing food preparation and presentation, and maintaining high-quality standards.
In this role, you will supervise and coordinate the activities of our culinary staff, train new hires on job duties and procedures, and estimate ingredient and supply requirements. You will also ensure that all meals meet quality control standards and address any customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
Responsibilities- Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of culinary staff, including training and development programs.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and maintain inventory levels.
- Ensure that all food and service meet quality control standards and address customer complaints or concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare reports as required.
- Degree from a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry.
- Criminal record check.
The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
