We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Security Guard to join our team at Paladin Security. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of our clients' properties through proactive and reactive patrols. You will work closely with our control centre staff to ensure seamless communication and response to incidents.

The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and customer service orientation. They must also be able to remain calm and effectively perform in emergency situations while adhering to our Code of Ethics. The successful candidate will have valid Ontario Security Guard License, valid First Aid & CPR - Level C certification from a WSIB-approved vendor, and proof of double COVID-19 vaccination.

In addition to your technical skills and qualifications, you should have excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with French considered an asset. A moderate level of physical activity, standing and walking for long periods of time in outdoor weather conditions, is also required.

Based on industry standards and location, the estimated salary range for this position is between $35,000 - $45,000 per annum, depending on experience.

  • Proactive and reactive security patrols to maintain client property safety

  • Report writing to document security events
  • Investigation of routine incidents to identify root causes
  • Additional duties as assigned by management
Requirements
  • Valid Ontario Security Guard License
  • Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C certification from a WSIB-approved vendor
  • Proof of double COVID-19 vaccination
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high professionalism
  • Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods outdoors
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • French language skills considered an asset
