We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to join our team at GameStop. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of retail professionals to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Direct and control daily store operations to ensure a positive customer experience and meet sales targets.
- Evaluate store performance and implement strategies to improve sales, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
- Plan and organize store layouts, visual merchandising, and inventory management to maximize sales and minimize waste.
- Manage staff and assign duties to ensure effective use of resources and achieve business objectives.
- Determine staffing requirements and recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers to meet business needs.
- Customer Service
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service to drive sales growth and build customer loyalty.
- Store Operations
- Oversee payroll administration, including scheduling, timekeeping, and benefits administration.
- Conduct performance reviews to evaluate employee performance and provide feedback for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Security and Safety
- Implement security measures to prevent theft, loss, and damage to store assets.
- Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to company safety policies and procedures.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
- Work in a fast-paced retail environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities.
- Stand for extended periods and move around the store to perform tasks.
- Personal Suitability
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills to build strong relationships with customers, employees, and vendors.
- Time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing circumstances.
- 3-4 years of retail management experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
