Urban Barn is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead our Laval store in Quebec. As a national retail chain with over 50 stores across Canada, we offer high-quality furniture and home decor. Our team is passionate about creating a welcoming environment for customers and employees alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Experience: Guide customers in their home decor choices, ensuring a personalized and exceptional shopping experience.
- Store Operations: Open, prepare, and close the store, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
- Team Development: Train and coach team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
- Inventory Management: Support operational tasks for stock and merchandising, maintaining a visually appealing store environment.
- Performance Management: Ensure the store meets performance expectations, maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and sales growth.
Requirements:
- Experience: At least 2 years of retail sales experience, with a proven track record in customer service leadership.
- Skills: Passion for interior decor and merchandising, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Availability: Commitment to a flexible schedule, including daytime, evening, and weekend shifts.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift and move loads up to 50 lbs / 23 kg.
