Job Description

As a Restaurant Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Determining the type of services to be offered and implementing operational procedures
  • Balancing cash and completing balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
  • Conducting performance reviews and ensuring employee satisfaction
  • Costing products and services, and negotiating arrangements with suppliers
  • Ensuring health and safety regulations are followed, and enforcing provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
  • Organizing and maintaining inventory, and planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating daily operations
  • Providing excellent customer service, and addressing customers' complaints or concerns
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school graduation certificate, or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in the food service industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads, and attention to detail
  • Reliability, accuracy, and dependability
