Job Title
FOH Supervising Manager

What You’ll Do:

- You will report to the General Manager (although this may vary from time to time depending who is on shift).
- You will assist the General Manager with most aspects of front of house restaurant management including:
Managing:

- Manage the floor while on shift - this includes ensuring all team members are living by our core value, assisting on the floor with food running, busing, expo and table maintenance.
- Assist the GM in all operations - this includes daily cash, inventory, labour costs, and training
- Coach team members to ensure consistency of performance, food quality, food plating and customer service with an emphasis on doing things right.
- Ensure that opening and closing checklists are completed up to established operating standards.
- Approve discounts and promo’s as required.
- Strive to enhance guest experiences at every opportunity with a focus on customer satisfaction. - Handle guest conflicts and concerns with tact and professionalism.
- Work each shift with a safety mindset. Be proactive in regards front of the house and back of the house safety (food safety, potential hazards for employees or guests).

Supervising:

- Genuinely connect and communicate with every guest in your section and every guest that you interact with (even if they aren’t in your section).
- Effectively finesse the menu and communicate your vast knowledge and expertise about food and bar menus with ease.
- Go the extra step to accommodate guest requests and suggestions.
- Continuously ensure that every guest leaves satisfied and happy with their experience. In the event of a concern or conflict, you will immediately involve a Manager to positively resolve the situation.
- Proactively assist other servers with table maintenance, running food, side duties, assisting to take payments, etc.
- Ensure that all guests receive a remarkably consistent experience.
- Be knowledgeable regarding allergy policies and procedures to ensure that guests are not at risk of an allergic reaction.
- Take the time to effectively learn and memorize new menu items and procedures.
- Uphold an upbeat attitude - you are always ready to greet the next guest when they walk through the door.
- Work each shift with a safety mindset. Be proactive in regards front of the house and back of the house safety(food safety, potential hazards for employees or guests).

- Be in charge once the manager on duty leaves for the evening while maintaining your section.
- Ensuring that all closing duties have been completed to standard before locking up the restaurant for the night.

- You may have experience as an Manager in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Consideration towards people with the right attitude who have experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- You understand the day-to-day operations of a restaurant.
- You pride yourself on your customer service skills, your ability to make people feel at home, your reliability and your ability to keep upbeat even during the busiest shifts.
- You smoothly sail through stressful moments are able to create a positive atmosphere for the team and guests at all times.
- You are solution focused and resourceful - you think on your feet effectively to find resolutions to situations.
- You are able to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks without skipping a beat.
