We are hiring for an Operations Manager at our location in Duncan, BC.

This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, and the successful applicant must have open availability.

You will be responsible for:
- Leading a team, acting as a coach, mentor, and resource to the store’s management team and team members; fostering a positive team environment that is focused on Always Customer First service.- Supporting the Assistant Store Manager with overall store operations standards (e.g., merchandising, customer service, cleanliness, food safety, receiving, shrink, scheduling, ordering, health and safety).- Supporting the Assistant Store Manager with team member relations (e.g., recruitment, training, conflict resolution, performance management, rewards/recognition and the identification and development of future leaders).- Supporting the Assistant Store Manager in reviewing and analyzing Income Statements and support the store’s management team to identify opportunities to grow profit; accountable to develop and execute action plans.- Supporting the communication of key messages to the store’s management team and/or team members to inspire alignment with key business objectives.- Using business/HR metrics and dashboards to monitor the performance of the department(s).- Using knowledge of the community, competitive environment, and industry to develop entrepreneurial strategies to grow the business.- Supporting the Assistant Store Manager in holding the store team accountable for accurate stocktaking.- Performing all job duties throughout the store as needed, including lifting weight (up to 50 lbs.), standing for long periods of time, and working in hot/cold environments.

You have:
- A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a customer service environment.- Post-Secondary education with a business focus (considered an asset).- Food Safe Certification.- Strong computer skills.- Demonstrated experience in the following areas:
- Achieving store sales targets and profitability.-
- Human Resources (e.g., performance management, conflict resolution, store culture and engagement).-
- Labour Relations and knowledge of the collective agreement (if applicable).-
- Store financial planning and budgeting.-
- Developing and executing merchandising plans.-
- Inventory control, shrink management and stocktaking.-
- Scheduling.-
- Health and Safety.-
- Food Safety. You are:

$55,000.00 - $62,000.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
