Linux Infrastructure Specialist

TV2 Consulting is looking for a proficient Linux Operations Administrator with a strong background in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) methodologies and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). The successful candidate will oversee and enhance our Linux-based systems infrastructure, establish CI/CD pipelines for efficient software deployment, and provide comprehensive support for AEM installations and configurations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Linux System Management:
    • Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux systems, including both servers and virtual environments.
    • Continuously monitor system performance to ensure optimal availability and reliability.
    • Apply security best practices and conduct regular updates and patches.
    • Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
    • Work collaboratively with other teams to enhance system performance and address issues swiftly.
  2. CI/CD Pipeline Development:
    • Design, construct, and sustain CI/CD pipelines to automate software builds, testing, and deployment.
    • Integrate CI/CD tools with version control systems and issue tracking platforms.
    • Refine deployment workflows to enhance release cycle efficiency.
    • Monitor pipeline performance and implement enhancements for speed and reliability.
    • Diagnose pipeline failures and devise solutions to ensure continuous delivery.
  3. Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Administration:
    • Install, configure, and manage Adobe Experience Manager instances.
    • Assist development teams in deploying AEM applications and custom features.
    • Monitor AEM performance and troubleshoot issues related to content management and replication.
    • Implement best practices for AEM security, including access controls and vulnerability management.
    • Provide technical support and guidance to AEM users and developers.
  4. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
    • Develop and maintain technical documentation for system configurations and troubleshooting procedures.
    • Facilitate training and knowledge transfer to team members on Linux administration, CI/CD practices, and AEM support.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  2. Demonstrated experience as a Linux Systems Administrator, with strong skills in Linux operating systems.
  3. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
  4. Familiarity with containerization technologies and orchestration tools.
  5. Expertise in Adobe Experience Manager installation and administration.
  6. Solid understanding of web application servers and database management systems.
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  8. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  9. Relevant certifications are advantageous.
