Job Title: Vice President, Inventory Planning

At Allegion, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President, Inventory Planning to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategy and channel programs to achieve business goals and forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategy and channel programs to achieve business goals and forecasts.
  • Lead and manage sales growth and profitability of the country within the commercial channel through product mix, pricing, expense management, and high customer sales experience.
  • Partner with other Allegion functional leaders and team members to drive sales plan, manage costs, and overall territory budget to meet financial goals.
  • Support and develop strategic priorities and channel programs and initiatives in support of sales plan and budgets.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop sales team to achieve sales targets and improve sales performance.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key customers within the Canadian commercial marketplace.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with cross-functional leaders in support of Allegion Commercial Sales objectives.
  • Responsible for performance management, talent review, employee development, talent acquisition, inclusion, and diversity, and employee engagement.
  • Maintain excellent industry/territory knowledge by gathering market data of competitive activity.
  • Maintain awareness of all Allegion policies, guidelines, and procedures and ensure compliance.
  • Responsible for Commercial Canada Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process.
  • Support the use of the sales funnel process in CRM to track and capture both new construction and aftermarket opportunities to drive positive business results.
  • Continuous communication with team to ensure employee engagement in business initiatives, strategy, and overall direction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or Technical field preferred.
  • 10+ years sales experience leading a high-performing sales team and setting sales targets.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Excellent strategic planning and communicating those plans.
  • Experience leading teams and working cross-functionally with marketing, product design, and operations.
