The Role


In this key position, you will partner with a business group of 125 employees, overseeing talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and learning and development. As part of our dynamic team, you'll contribute to company-wide initiatives such as diversity and inclusion, employee engagement, and organizational development.


Your Responsibilities



  • Talent Acquisition: Build strong relationships with your business group to champion people and culture initiatives, including diversity and inclusion, leadership development, and engagement programs.
  • HR Program Adoption: Advise on and drive the adoption of HR programs, including performance management, compensation, promotions, and workforce planning.
  • Performance Management: Manage the performance evaluation process as a core tool to promote a high-performing workplace. Provide performance and development coaching to people leaders, working closely with the People Programs team on manager enablement and delivery.
  • Project Management: Manage all people-related matters within acquisition and disposition projects within your business group, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Participate in major HR projects and strategic initiatives focused on enhancing the employee experience (e.g., Employee Value Proposition) and ensure successful delivery of projects aligned with business priorities.
  • Confidentiality and Discretion: Handle highly confidential employee and legal information regularly.

Requirements and Qualifications



  • Advanced Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in MS Office - Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • HRIS Platforms: Working familiarity with various HRIS platforms, especially Workday is advantageous.
  • Industry Expertise: Specific experience in global real estate, asset management, private equity industries or multi-national financial institutions is a strong asset.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and coaching skills with a proven ability to develop relationships and influence at all levels within the organization to achieve business results.
  • Business Acumen: Demonstrated capacity to think strategically with strong business acumen and deliver tactical solutions.
