Job Title: Health and Wellness Manager

At Dynacare, we're seeking a highly skilled Health and Wellness Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in fostering a thriving and inclusive workplace culture.

About the Role:
  • Provide subject matter expertise, consultation, and implementation on various health, safety, and wellness practices.
  • Lead the development and implementation of occupational health, safety, and emergency management system programs.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance and improve employee wellness, safety, and environmental policies, programs, processes, and standards.
  • Analyze Dynacare's incident and accident data, and develop strategies to minimize workplace injuries and related claim costs.
  • Partner with the Corporate disability management team to facilitate short-term and long-term disability claims management.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field.
  • Knowledge of Manitoba, Alberta, and British Columbia safety requirements and legislation.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting with knowledge of biosafety.
  • Strong research skills and ability to analyze data.
  • 5+ years progressive H&S business partner experience, including 2+ years' experience working with multiple sites and in multiple provinces.
