Job Title: Landscaping Supervisor

Norse Landscapes Ltd is seeking a skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our outdoor spaces.

Responsibilities:
  • Schedule Work: Plan and coordinate the daily work schedule for our grounds maintenance team.
  • Plan and Direct Grounds Maintenance: Develop and implement plans for maintaining our outdoor spaces, including lawn care, pruning, and other tasks.
  • Plan, Manage and Supervise Landscape Construction Work: Oversee the construction of new landscapes, including planning, budgeting, and supervising contractors.
  • Maintain Work Records and Logs: Keep accurate records of work completed, including hours worked, materials used, and any issues encountered.
  • Read Blueprints and Drawings: Interpret blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements and specifications.
  • Repair and Maintain Equipment: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment used for grounds maintenance and landscape construction.
  • Supervise Nursery and Greenhouse Workers: Oversee the daily operations of our nursery and greenhouse, including planting, pruning, and harvesting.
  • Establish Work Schedules and Procedures: Develop and implement procedures for completing tasks efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in grounds maintenance or landscape construction.
  • Valid Driver's Licence: A valid driver's licence is required for this position.
Work Environment:

This is a physically demanding role that requires working outdoors in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
