Fleet Maintenance Specialist

The London Transit Commission is seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
• Service and clean fleet vehicles, including lead hands duties as assigned
• Perform minor repairs to vehicles, such as replacing lights, mirrors, and wipers
• Assist skilled tradespersons as required
• Change and replenish fluids in vehicles, including engine, transmission, differential, and cooling systems
• Operate a forklift, skid steer, bobcat, sweeper/scrubber, and other equipment as required
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
• G-class Ontario Driver's license with zero demerit points (mandatory upgrade to C-class license)
• Air Brake Endorsement (Z)
• One year of hands-on basic mechanical skills and experience working on vehicles
• Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent
