Job Description

This role offers a unique opportunity to join our Commercial Operations team as a Senior Business Development Engineer. In this position, you will be responsible for developing and executing business growth strategies, identifying new revenue streams, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders. You will work closely with our pricing manager to develop pricing strategies that meet business objectives while ensuring competitiveness in the market.

You will also be part of an 18-month rotational program, which includes rotations focused on developing skills such as leadership and ABB product knowledge. This program provides a comprehensive learning experience, equipping you with the necessary tools to succeed in your career.

As a Senior Business Development Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with our Electrification Installation Products business group, which provides customers with installation and safety solutions designed for ease of installation and maintenance, sustainability, and superior performance. Your role will involve delivering business results by completing challenging and meaningful assignments in a supportive environment.

Requirements
  • Completed university studies in engineering before the start of the program.
  • Maximum two years of professional work experience by the start date.
  • Desire to learn and grow.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must already have a work authorization that would permit you to work for ABB in Canada and must be available to travel to any of our Canadian sites.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this role is between $80,000 and $120,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will be offered a comprehensive benefits package, including a retirement plan, accident insurance, healthcare plan, and wellbeing program.
