Job Description

Burger Barons is seeking a highly skilled Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. As the head of food preparation and management, you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations, ensuring high-quality dishes are served promptly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
  • Kitchen Management: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and manage kitchen operations.
  • Sourcing and Supply Chain: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and order supplies and equipment as needed.
Requirements:
  • Certifications and Qualifications: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role.
  • Skills: Ability to work under pressure, physically demanding environment, fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 per year, based on industry standards and market research. The compensation package also includes benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
