Burger Barons is seeking a highly skilled Head Chef to lead our kitchen operations. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for managing the entire food preparation process, from requisitioning ingredients and supplies to supervising kitchen staff and maintaining inventory records.

About the Role

This is a permanent position that requires at least 1 year of experience in a similar role. You will work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all meals are prepared to a high standard and that the kitchen runs smoothly.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to train and supervise kitchen staff effectively. You should also be physically fit and able to perform repetitive tasks for long periods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies in a timely manner to meet menu demands
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Manage kitchen operations efficiently, including ordering supplies and equipment as needed
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

The Head Chef will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with demanding physical requirements. This includes standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and working under pressure.

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000-$80,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
