About the Role

We are seeking a Restaurant Management Team Leader to join our team at Denny's Restaurants. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining high food quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: You will supervise and co-ordinate the activities of our staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their job duties and perform tasks efficiently.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train new hires in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure they have the necessary skills to succeed in their roles.
  • Quality Control: Establish methods to meet work schedules, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports on stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, as well as maintain records of these metrics.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education: A Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in food service management.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff to achieve high performance standards.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week in a fast-paced restaurant environment. You will be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
