Job Summary

The Staffing Coordinator is a vital member of the Human Resource team at Prairie Mountain Health, responsible for coordinating scheduling staff, managing scheduling changes, and maintaining accurate time card data in our scheduling system.

About the Role

This key position assists Human Resources with administrative tasks and duties as assigned. As a Staffing Coordinator, you will work closely with managers to plan and coordinate replacement staff for vacation, sick leave, statutory holidays, overtime, and other approved absences.

You will communicate schedule changes to relevant departments and consult with HR and other managers on staffing issues. Your duties will include generating daily, weekly, and monthly schedules as needed, preparing and entering time card edits, and documenting all schedule changes.

Schedule Management
  1. Plan and coordinate replacement staff for various types of leave, including vacation, sick leave, statutory holidays, and overtime.
  2. Communicate schedule changes to affected departments.
  3. Consult with HR and other managers on staffing matters.
Time Card Administration

Maintain accurate records of employee hours worked, including editing and updating time cards as necessary. Prepare and enter all time card edits to ensure payroll accuracy.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Prepare shift schedules in accordance with collective agreements.
  • Document all schedule changes on the master schedule and maintain up-to-date information on staff replacements.
  • Perform sundry duties as assigned by management.
Estimated Salary Range:

$40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
