Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at McDonald's Restaurant. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that inventory levels are maintained at optimal levels.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary to prevent quality issues.
  • Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Prepare budget and cost estimates for food, supplies, and labor, and ensure that expenses are managed within budget.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and take steps to resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain Records: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and provide regular reports to management.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Work Conditions: Work under pressure, standing for extended periods, and working in a noisy and hot environment.
