Property Manager

About the Role
The Property Manager is a key position in our residential property management team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our properties in Laval, QC. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and train staff to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of property performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective property management strategies to maximize profitability and maintain corporate standards.
- Lead and manage a team of staff to ensure excellent customer service, timely rent collection, and effective maintenance of properties.
- Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on market trends and competitor activity.
- Recommend rates for available units and lease renewals to ensure optimal revenue growth.
- Ensure all staff are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties effectively.
- Monitor and control expenses to ensure they are within budget.
- Collaborate with the District Manager to develop and implement annual budgets and operating plans.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential property management or a related field.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and train staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in property management software.
- Bilingual in French and English (required).
