Job Title: Property Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Property Manager to oversee the daily activities and maintenance of our commercial properties in downtown Montreal. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of preventative safety measures and cleanliness are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all building operations, including maintenance staff, external contractors, and building technical facilities
- Perform weekly inspections of the buildings and property grounds
- Prepare, monitor, and manage the annual expense budget
- Prepare monthly forecasts, variance reports, and adjustments for the accounting department
- Negotiate and manage all service contracts with the property services group
- Manage sustainability processes
- Manage tenant construction work
- Collaborate with various departments and suppliers
- Respond to emergencies related property operations
Requirements:
- At least 3+ years of experience in commercial property management
- Excellent communication skills to effectively manage tenant requests
- Strong administrative skills
- Ability to delegate responsibilities to subcontracts
- Organized and able to work under minimal supervision
- Basic knowledge of building systems and construction
- Excellent customer service skills
- Tech savvy
- Understanding of commercial leases
- Bilingual
