Client Service Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Client Service Expert to join our team in New York. As a key member of our Loan Servicing Group, you will be responsible for supporting the Structured Finance department and ensuring operational performance and efficiency across the perimeter.
Responsibilities- Assist production teams as needed and provide technical support to build expertise within the STR Servicing teams
- Review, verify, and authorize daily loan transactions, including Money Market, Commercial Paper, Non-performing, and Direct/Agented facilities
- Oversee the review and approval of loan forms for new borrowings, increases, rollovers, pay-downs, and commitment reductions, as well as daily approvals of loan proceeds
- Evaluate discrepancies in interest, commitment fees, and ensure proper reconciliation
- Contribute to the improvement of AMER processes and aligning STR processes globally, focusing on data quality, payments, event management, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Support the STR manager in monitoring STR Servicing processes and data quality through various system-generated reports
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert and preferred point of contact for related projects
- Maintain comprehensive process documentation and team training to uphold high standards
- Proficiency in Loan IQ (LIQ Loan System) and experience servicing syndicated deals as an agent
- Strong understanding of loan products and cash payment principles in USD and foreign currencies
- Advanced Excel skills
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial lending using Loan IQ, with exposure to diverse portfolios (agency/syndicated loans)
- Knowledge of financial products, especially loans, guarantees, and standby letters of credit
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-confidence, ability to work independently, and strong organizational and time management skills
- A team player who collaborates effectively
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of approximately $95,000 per annum, based on industry standards and market rates.
