About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our team in Ontario. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to store managers and employees across the territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support recruitment and onboarding processes for new store associates by conducting interviews, leading new hire orientation, and ensuring accurate enrollment in HR systems.
  • Develop and implement employee relations strategies, answering policy and procedure questions, resolving grievances, and addressing employee discipline matters.
  • Assist in reviewing, developing, and implementing company policies, programs, and initiatives, including training delivery.
  • Maintain accurate and complete employee records in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as report preparation, letter writing, and presentations as requested.
  • Oversee Time & Attendance, ensuring accuracy of timecards, meeting deadlines, and adhering to overtime rules.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable legislation, including Employment Standards Act, Human Rights Code, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and Workplace Safety and Insurance Act.
  • Support regional organization planning and staff development, creating and monitoring development plans with area managers and the HR Manager.
  • Provide HR guidance to store staff and managers as needed.
  • Sit on the Joint Health and Safety Committee and oversee meetings of the stores' JHSCs.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field (strongly preferred).
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in human resources, preferably in a retail or fast-paced environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and G-Suite.
  • The ability to operate with high integrity and confidentiality.
  • Exceptional communication skills in both English and French (verbal and written).
  • A keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills.
  • The ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Flexibility to work with global teams and global time zones.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to stores regularly in Ontario.
  • Knowledge of Ontario's Employment Standards Acts is required; knowledge of British Columbia, Alberta, and Quebec's employment legislation would be considered an asset.
What We Offer

In exchange for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development within the company.
