Job Summary
Highlight Motor Freight Inc. is seeking an experienced Administrative Co-ordinator to join our team. As an Administrative Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office, ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.
Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate new administrative procedures and establish work priorities to ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
- Delegate work to office support staff and oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
- Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence.
- Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services.
Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
