Role Overview

As a key member of the UPS N DOWNS team, the Food Service Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and Supervision: Establish efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our fast-paced environment, while supervising and coordinating the activities of our team members.
  • Staff Development: Train and mentor our staff in their job duties, with a focus on maintaining the highest standards of sanitation and safety.
  • Inventory Management: Accurately estimate and manage ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that our menu offerings meet the highest quality standards.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that their needs are met and they leave our facilities satisfied.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, sales, and wastage, as well as prepare and submit regular reports to management.
Work Environment and Requirements
  • Work Setting: Our dining facilities operate in a fast-paced environment, requiring individuals who can work well under pressure.
  • Team Size: The successful candidate will supervise a team of 3-4 people.
  • Physical Demands: The role requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, as well as working in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.

Requirements
  • Experience: The successful candidate will have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
  • Work Hours: The position requires 32 to 35 hours of work per week.
