{"About the Opportunity": "We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for preparing, dispensing, and administering radiopharmaceuticals to perform a wide range of nuclear medicine diagnostic procedures and therapies. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the quality and safety of our radiopharmaceuticals, imaging equipment, and documentation.

In this role, you will work closely with our team to adapt procedures, perform complex computer manipulations, and provide high-quality patient care. You will also be required to work independently on a rotating basis, performing on-call/emergency procedures outside of regular department hours.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a graduate of an accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology, hold Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification, and be licensed by the Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP). You will also need to possess basic life support certification, workplace hazardous materials information system knowledge, and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish a rapport with patients and colleagues alike.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Prepare, dispense, and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic procedures and therapies
* Ensure the quality and safety of radiopharmaceuticals, imaging equipment, and documentation

**Requirements:**

* Graduate of an accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology
* Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification
* Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP) licensure
* Basic life support certification
* Workplace hazardous materials information system knowledge
* Ability to adapt to changing circumstances
