About the Role

The Global Business Service Unit (GBSU) Canada is a key player in delivering day-to-day services to Société Générale's investment and corporate bank units and their clients. Our goal is to accelerate their transformation by leveraging our agile approach, spreading technology and data culture, and adopting a true industrial approach.

As a Trade Support Specialist, you will join the Trade Capture (Transaction Modeling) team within the Operations direction. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee booking transactions in our information systems under the delegation of the Front Office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Model complex Exotic transactions and negotiated events in our information system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Control the quality and completeness of the information entered, ensuring seamless processing.
  • Analyze and regulate breaks raised by Middle-Office Control and other parties involved in the Front to Back chain.
  • Coordinate between the Front-Office and other support functions on the processing of requests for information and problem-solving.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Participate in projects related to security and reliability of the control framework.
  • Contribute to impact analysis as part of the development of new activities.
  • Design and improve production tools in VBA and Python (Booking, Pricing, Communication).
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree with a major in finance or financial markets.
  • First experience in financial markets, with a deep understanding of financial products and processes.
  • Deep knowledge and practical skills in Excel, VBA, and financial mathematics.
  • Excellent interpersonal and partnering skills, with a strong team-player attitude.
  • Demonstrate initiative, solutions-oriented approach, and ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
Language Requirements

Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required, as you will collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners in the United States.
