Medical Director, Sexual Assault Service Leader

BC Women's Hospital and Health Centre is a leading provider of women's health services in British Columbia. We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Director to lead our Sexual Assault Service.
The successful candidate will provide medical leadership and direction to the Sexual Assault Service, ensuring high-quality care and clinical standards. They will cultivate alliances with other hospitals and community agencies to coordinate and provide provincial services through partnerships and networking.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership ability, proven communications and interpersonal skills, and experience in building positive partnerships with strategic partners. They will be committed to their clinical practice and strive to provide the highest level of care possible to women.
The Medical Director will apply their knowledge and experience to monitor all operations and lead continuous quality improvement for the department, while remaining a practicing physician. They will participate in teaching locally and provincially, and collaborate in the development of clinical practice standards.
Candidates will hold a Medical Degree and be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia. Advanced training and/or experience in sexual assault services, women's health, and healthcare for vulnerable populations is an asset.
