Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Loans Officer & Project Coordinator to join our team. This role will involve coordinating two key lending streams: the FCRP Program and the Business Lending Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the work of our Loan Officers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Review and make recommendations on FCRP loan applications, ensuring that all requirements are met.
  • Deliver engaging financial literacy workshops to CRP clients, both virtually and in-person.
  • Maintain strong partnerships with financial institutions, settlement agencies, and educational institutions.
Business Lending Program
  • Guide entrepreneurs through the business planning and loan application processes, providing expert feedback and recommendations.
  • Review, assess, and make business loan recommendations, ensuring that all risks are mitigated.
  • Monitor loan portfolio performance, verifying accuracy of information received and liaising with financial institutions as required.
General Duties
  • Conduct face-to-face and virtual client meetings, communicating effectively in both English and French.
  • Support reporting requirements for funders and stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Maintain relationships with community partners and financial institutions, fostering strong collaborations.
Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience in business lending, loan administration, or related financial services.
  • Fluency in English and French (written and verbal).
  • Strong understanding of risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Experience evaluating business plans and financial projections.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with outstanding attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to work proactively and take initiative.
  • Strong intercultural communication skills and experience working with newcomer populations.
  • Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills.
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to work.
Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
