Job Summary

The Director of Line of Business Operations is responsible for the overall management of the Line of Business (LOB) program, overseeing full life cycle management, including development, production, and sustainment. This role involves leading the LOB program management function, managing multiple functions within the LOB, and ensuring proper methods are followed to track program cost, schedules, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the LOB program management function, managing full life cycle development, production, and sustainment.
  • Oversee multiple functions within the LOB, including engineering, program management, business development, and program finance.
  • Develop and implement recovery plans for yellow and red programs.
  • Ensure program methodologies are followed and work closely with existing customers to obtain feedback on company performance.
  • Manage internal research and development programs within the LOB.
  • Develop internal relationships with management stakeholders and manage Program Management development.
  • Lead monthly program reviews for the Company or LOB and conduct program reviews that identify root-cause and corrective action.
