Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Service Manager to join our team at Midas. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for managing and directing all service department activities, including supervising sales and service processes, overseeing technicians' diagnostic inspections and repairs, and maintaining inventory counts.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and sales while listening and consulting with customers
  • Follow up with customers on services requested, estimated completion times, and other important details
  • Oversee complete vehicle diagnostic inspections and make comprehensive recommendations, building computerized repair orders and sourcing parts
  • Create, deliver, and discuss pricing estimates with customers, as well as promote shop service specials
  • Lead, manage, and train team members while keeping in tune with our vision, purpose, and core values
  • Supervise sales and service processes, ensuring a seamless customer experience
  • Oversee technicians' diagnostic inspections and repairs of domestic and imported cars and light trucks
  • Maintain inventory counts and ensure the overall cleanliness and organization of the facility
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years of store or service manager experience
  • General automotive knowledge and automotive mechanic experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service disposition and good communication skills
  • Leadership ability and team-building skills
  • Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including rotating half-day Saturdays
  • Valid driver's license
  • Past experience demonstrating ability to enhance sales success and drive shop growth

Compensation: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
