About the Role

Care24Inc is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Communication: Interview patients to obtain accurate and detailed case histories, ensuring that all necessary information is collected and documented.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring that all necessary information is communicated to patients and healthcare providers.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete insurance and other claim forms, enter and format electronically based medical reports and correspondence, and prepare spreadsheets and documents for review.
  • Record Keeping: Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records, ensuring that all necessary information is accurately and securely stored.
  • Data Entry: Perform data entry tasks, ensuring that all necessary information is accurately and efficiently recorded.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders, ensuring that all needs are met and concerns are addressed.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a medical administrative role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, working under pressure, and requiring attention to detail.
