About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cement Finisher to join our team at Skyscraper Construction and Cement Finishing Ltd. As a Cement Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Concrete Finishing: Direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade, fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement, and impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
  • Structural Integrity: Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure the structural integrity of our concrete structures.
  • Work at Heights: Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Tool Maintenance: Maintain and repair tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to complete tasks and meet project deadlines.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field of cement finishing.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a dusty, noisy, and outdoors environment.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
